I've been interested in dollhouses all of my life, but as a child the best I could do was build one from my red lego set and out of old cardboard boxes. In hindsight, I think I had so much fun making those houses, that I'm re-living my childhood more vividly now, making a proper wooden one and filling it with toys, moreso than if I had the most expensive budget and could just buy things. For me, the joy is in the creativity and this project is really letting me go wild. It took me a couple of years to get this far. I'm slow. But in a couple more years it'll be ready to hand down to my neice, and I can move on to other things. Until then, it's FIMO time! :) :) :)
